Skinny Detox Alkaline Smoothie Recipe (Yum!)

This Skinny Detox Alkaline Smoothie recipe is so delicious and nutritious, you are going to want it for breakfast EVERY morning! Summer is here in Australia and it’s so easy to source some amazing summer fruits and produce. I am loving being home with my family after a busy year on film sets abroad. Time for some sun, Christmas and beach time!

Here is my favourite skinny detox smoothie which is great for this silly season and times of slight over-indulgence.

You will need:
  skinny detox alkaline smoothie

1 cup of coconut water (has essential rehydrating electrolytes and potassium)
2 sticks of celery
1 green apple
1 handful of baby spinach leaves
1/2 cup of fresh pineapple
Squeeze of lemon
Sprinkle of chia seeds

Blend everything together except the chia seeds in a high powered blender. Stir the chia seeds in at the end and enjoy!
